GTA 6 Characters: Lucia, Jason & Every Official Character

GTA 6 has two stars, Lucia Caminos and Jason Duval, and a supporting cast that already feels very Florida. Below you'll find every character Rockstar has officially named, what Rockstar says about them, what we've actually seen of them in the trailers, and where the facts stop and the guessing starts.

The protagonists

Lucia Caminos

Role: co-protagonist and, honestly, the face of the whole campaign. Trailer 1 opened on her.

What Rockstar says: Lucia's dad taught her to fight as soon as she could walk, and life has been swinging at her ever since. Fighting for her family put her in the Leonida Penitentiary, and Rockstar says it was sheer luck that got her out. She's done with dumb moves. She wants the good life her mom dreamed about back in Liberty City, and she's not waiting for anyone to hand it over. A life with Jason, Rockstar says, could be her way out.

What we've seen:

• Trailer 1: she's in prison, talking to a corrections social worker. That's how GTA 6 introduced its first protagonist.
• Trailer 2: Jason picks her up when she gets out, and there's a short cage-fighting clip (Dexerto's breakdown).
• Extended Look: you can switch between her and Jason, even mid-mission and during car chases.
• Launch Trailer: an ankle tag, and a call to Jason from jail, per Dexerto and Gfinity's breakdowns.

Relationships: Jason's partner in crime and in love. Cal clearly wants to meet her friends (more on that below).

Confirmed vs speculation: ✅ prison past, Liberty City roots, playable. ⚠️ How she ends up back behind bars in the Launch Trailer is anyone's guess until launch.

Jason Duval

Role: co-protagonist. The guy who wants things easy and keeps getting the opposite.

What Rockstar says: Jason grew up surrounded by grifters and crooks. He tried the Army to shake off a rough teenage stretch, then drifted to the Keys and went back to what he knows: working for local drug runners. Rockstar's line that meeting Lucia "could be the best or worst thing" to happen to him sums up the whole vibe.

What we've seen:

• Trailer 2: odd jobs, collecting tenant checks for his boss, beach workouts, a beer run, and picking Lucia up from prison (PCGamesN's breakdown).
• Extended Look: character switching, and a private security job with Lucia for a wealthy client (Film Daily's recap).
• Launch Trailer: more about his military background, per Dexerto.

Relationships: Lucia's partner. Lives on Brian Heder's turf, rent-free in exchange for help. Cal is his buddy.

Confirmed vs speculation: ✅ Army past, Keys drug-running work, playable. ⚠️ Any "he's an ex-cop" or "he dies" theory is pure fan talk.

The supporting cast

Cal Hampton

Role: Jason's friend and one of Brian's associates.

What Rockstar says: Cal is happiest at home, listening in on Coast Guard radio with a few beers and some private browser tabs open. Rockstar calls him a guy at "the low tide of America" who's fine with that. Casual paranoia loves company, but Jason has bigger plans.

What we've seen: in Trailer 2, hanging out with Jason and Lucia in a warehouse, snooping on Coast Guard comms, and at a bar asking to be set up with Lucia's friends (PCGamesN).

Relationships: Jason's buddy, Brian's associate.

Confirmed vs speculation: ✅ friend and radio snoop. ⚠️ "He's the crew's tech guy" is a fan guess that fits, but isn't official.

Boobie Ike

Role: Vice City power player and, per coverage, one of the duo's employers.

What Rockstar says: a local legend who acts like it. Boobie turned his street years into a legit empire: real estate, a strip club and a recording studio. All smiles until you talk business. His big bet is Only Raw Records with Dre'Quan, and they need a hit.

What we've seen: Trailer 2 spends time in a nightclub that appears to be his (Dexerto). In the Extended Look, Film Daily's recap has him as the first named employer handing Jason and Lucia drug-related jobs.

Relationships: business partner of Dre'Quan. Real Dimez are on his label.

Confirmed vs speculation: ✅ businesses and label. ⚠️ How deep his "street days" still run is for the story to show.

Dre'Quan Priest

Role: the music side of Only Raw Records.

What Rockstar says: Dre'Quan was always more hustler than gangster, and music was the dream. Now he's at Only Raw Records with Boobie and has signed Real Dimez, aiming for a real spot in the Vice City scene.

What we've seen: introduced in Trailer 2. In the Extended Look, he coaches Real Dimez through a studio session (Film Daily).

Relationships: Boobie's partner, Real Dimez's label boss.

Confirmed vs speculation: ✅ label role. ⚠️ Nothing official on how he crosses paths with Jason and Lucia.

Real Dimez (Bae-Luxe and Roxy)

Role: rap duo and social media stars. Very 2026 Florida.

What Rockstar says: Bae-Luxe and Roxy have been friends since high school. They turned money from shaking down local dealers into provocative tracks and a constant social media presence. An early hit with local rapper DWNPLY blew them up. Five years and plenty of trouble later, they're signed to Only Raw Records and chasing a second big break.

What we've seen: introduced in Trailer 2. The Extended Look shows them needing a comeback single (Film Daily).

Relationships: signed by Dre'Quan to Boobie's label.

Confirmed vs speculation: ✅ backstory and label. ⚠️ Whether they're mission-givers isn't confirmed.

Raul Bautista

Role: professional bank robber. Some coverage spells it "Batista"; Rockstar's page says Bautista.

What Rockstar says: "Experience counts." Raul is a seasoned bank robber with confidence, charm and cunning, always looking for talent willing to take big risks for big rewards. Rockstar hints his recklessness raises the stakes on every job.

What we've seen: introduced in Trailer 2. In the Extended Look, a police chase involving Raul pulls Jason and Lucia into a getaway role (Film Daily).

Relationships: very likely the heist connection for the duo, but that's our read.

Confirmed vs speculation: ✅ bank robber. ⚠️ "He betrays them" is a popular theory, nothing more.

Brian Heder

Role: old-school smuggler, Jason's landlord and boss.

What Rockstar says: a classic drug runner from the golden age of smuggling in the Keys. He still moves product through his boat yard with his third wife, Lori, and he's been around long enough to let others do his dirty work. Jason lives rent-free in exchange for help with local shakedowns.

What we've seen: introduced in Trailer 2. The Extended Look shows the trailer-for-help deal with Jason, and Lori handling firearms (Film Daily).

Relationships: married to Lori, Jason's landlord, works with Cal.

Confirmed vs speculation: ✅ smuggler, boat yard, Lori. ⚠️ Voice actor reports are not confirmed by Rockstar.

Also named in official footage

These don't have profiles on Rockstar's site. Names and roles come from coverage of the Netflix Extended Look (Film Daily, GTABase), so we label them ⚠️ until the game's credits confirm them.

Lori Heder

Brian's third wife, named in his official bio. Seen handling guns at the boat yard. 📸 Our own in-game screenshot of Lori will be added after launch.

Petra Navarro

Reported as the COO of MegaMundo, introduced to Jason and Lucia during a corporate event. 📸 Our own in-game screenshot of Petra will be added after launch.

Andrés de León

Reported as the wealthy client who hires Jason and Lucia as private security for that event. 📸 Our own in-game screenshot of Andrés will be added after launch.

Coverage also mentions a contact called Valentina and Lucia's corrections social worker, but spellings differ between outlets, so we'll wait for the game.
