GTA 6 PS5 Controller: Price, Release Date & Where to Buy
Quick answer
Sony is releasing two Grand Theft Auto VI Limited Edition DualSense controllers for PS5, one White and one Black, on November 19, 2026, the same day as the game. They cost $84.99 (€84.99, £74.99). Pre-orders opened September 10, 2026 at direct.playstation.com and participating retailers, in limited quantities.
The GTA 6 controller is one of the most searched GTA 6 products right now, and for good reason: it's limited, it launches with the game, and it actually looks like Vice City at night. Here's everything confirmed.

The GTA 6 DualSense controllers (two versions)
Sony revealed two limited edition DualSense controllers at its September 2026 State of Play:

|---|---|---|
| Vibe | Vice City at daybreak | Vice City nightlife |
| Finish | Shimmering, color-shifting | Shimmering, color-shifting |
| Details | Palm trees + GTA VI branding | Palm trees + GTA VI branding |
Both are standard DualSense controllers underneath, so you get the haptic feedback and adaptive triggers GTA 6 uses on PS5. See GTA 6 on PS5.

Avoid controller scams and scalpers
Limited editions attract scalpers and fake shops. Three rules:
- Price check: much cheaper than $84.99 from an unknown site = red flag.
- Only known stores: PlayStation Direct or retailers you already know.
- No "giveaways" that ask for login or payment details. Real giveaways never need your PSN password.

Is the controller worth it?
If you're buying a second controller anyway, or you collect limited editions, it's a cool launch-day pickup. Functionally it's the same as a normal DualSense, so if you just need a controller to play, a regular one does the job. Our honest take: buy it because you love it, not because you think you need it to play GTA 6.
Is there a GTA 6 PS5 bundle?
Sony hasn't announced an official GTA 6 PS5 console bundle so far. Some retailers have put together their own console + game packs (for example Amazon Germany with Xbox consoles). We'll update this page if Sony announces one. Planning to buy? Read how to pre-order GTA 6 on PS5.
